Conchitas Authentic Mexican Tamales – Genuine Flavors & Fresh Mexican Cuisine in Grand Junction

Just tried Conchitas this evening. The food is SO good. I grew up in So Cal so I know good Mexican food. The salsa is roasted and the has perfect amount of heat. They start with chips, salsa and a side of beans to appease the appetite, which are tasty, by the way. The drinks are quality, hand crafted and strong. Then came the food. The menu isnt 16 pages long (thank goodness). They know what they do well and deliver. We had tacos, an enchilada and burrito. Chorizo, chicken and Asada. All well seasoned and well presented. We took a lot home due to the generous portions. The staff was sweet and attentive. This is our new favorite spot and we can't wait to go back. Location is easy to get to. Atmosphere is very casual and chill, great for family or date night. Live this place!!!

Best authentic Mexican food we’ve ever had. Their chips & salsa table service comes with refried beans. The salsa is out of this world good and is made with grilled tomatoes and jalapeños we tried the tacos, tamales, and quesabirria. We ate too fast to snap any pics. Prickly pear marg is amazing too! Also saw they have really good taco Tuesday deal, $2 tacos and BOGO margs. Also good deal for students I think $11 for two tamales, chips and salsa, and fountain drink. Can’t wait to come back to try the chilaquiles and breakfast burrito!!

I’ve been there a few times since they have opened. The bacon breakfast burrito was filling, and super delicious! As were the Gorditas I ordered on Thursday. Definitely will be ordering both again in the near future..

This is a hidden little Gem. I love this place. Has such a warm, cozy, inviting environment and feel to it, and, the food is most certainly authentic and delicious. I'd give 10 stars if it was possible. Their green chili gorditas were made with fresh ingredients. They were nice and fluffy and made to order. I highly recommend you try this little gem, you won't be disappointed. That's a promise. They also have a drive-through for convenience.

Do yourself a favor! This place has amazing authentic Mexican food and equally amazing service. You can taste the love and quality in every bite. Innovative and delicious cocktails.

Wow—Conchitas delivers! This is the most authentic Mexican menu we’ve found north of the border. We travel to Mexico at least once a year, and it’s always hard coming home knowing that most places in the States serve an “Americanized” version of true Mexican cuisine. We ordered the aguachiles, the tamales rancheras, and I indulged in a beautifully crafted mezcalita. Minds blown. For a moment, we were transported straight into the heart of Mexico. The service was warm and attentive, and every flavor was phenomenal. I can’t wait to come back and try the molé. We won’t be going anywhere else for our Mexican nights out!

We had an amazing Taco Tuesday at Conchitas! The owner was so kind and welcoming. Absolutely delicious tacos, guacamole, pico, and margaritas.

Let me just say… that salsa A million out of TEN. I don’t know what kind of magic they put in it, but I was ready to take a whole jar home. The service On point. The food Hot, fresh, and a full 10/10. If you haven’t gone yet, GO. We’ll be back probably too often.
